The racing season kicks off this weekend !

Marc launches his 2006 racing season this weekend in Florida at the last round of the Winter Tour in Ocala. Marc will be driving in the ICC Pro-Shifter class with Team PSL. This event is to help him prepare for the first race of the Stars of Karting series that will be taking place in Norman, Oklahoma between the 17th and 19th of March. Things are a little complicated logistically at present because Marc (a passionate “extreme” alpine skier and snowboarder) is working at the Fairmont Hotel in Lake Louise, Alberta. On his days or afternoons off he takes to the “off trail” slopes and is also quite happy to be dropped off by helicopter on the top of a mountain. CRAZY!!! His employers have been very generous in allowing him the time off to head to the races and meet up with his father and his engineer (Steve Pinet) who themselves are leaving for Florida this Thursday from Montreal. Once the ski season is over Marc will head back to Montreal and work and race this summer and then get ready for university in September where he will be studying “Business Administration”. A summer, therefore, where he will be able to focus his efforts on his racing here and in the U.S.
